Cheese ... Roll?

Those crazy Brits.

The Gloucestershire cheese roll is an annual event held at Cooper's hill, an almost-vertical drop 4 miles southeast of Gloucester, on the edge of the Cotswold escarpment. Competitors race down the hill, chasing an 8 pound double Gloucester cheese, which can never really be caught because, you know, gravity. The first to cross the finish line wins the cheese.

Keep in mind: next event Monday 25th May 2009 - First race 12:00 Midday
