Panic at the Disco - It's Almost Halloween

First they were Panic! at the Disco, then they dropped the exclamation point. Okay, you can try to do that, but in my mind, it will always be there. But can someone please explain this to me? Are they deliberately bad, or are they a serious band? Because I listen to them and I think it must be a really bad joke. This is worse than Ann Coulter, and defninitely worse than the Da Vinci Code (both the film and the novel by Dan Brown). It's worse than Joe the Plumber and much, much worse than time cube. So tell me, is this for real? Because for all my digging, I can't find any evidence, other than their talent, that this band is a joke.
