Filter yourself, for the love of God

Here's a question: why are your crappy photos all over the internet? I see them on FaceBook, and Flickr and everywhere else. Do you have no filter? Do you not go through all however many photos you have before posting them and choose only the best?? Obviously you don't.

This phenomenon drives me absolutely crazy. Why do I have to sift through a zillion crappy pictures to find the twelve that were worth looking at? Above is a photo of me and my partner, sharing a moment at a friend's birthday party. As you can see, it's dark and grainy and slightly out of focus. Also, she kind of hates me, and yet for some reason she posted this photo on the internet. If you can explain this behaviour, please do.

She doesn't hate you. She also didn't take it but since you posed for it thought you might want it. So sorry for the inconvenience.

Maybe her pictures are "all over the internet" (HER Face book and photo accounts) because she has a life and she was celebrating a special moment in her life with friends. Also, maybe she has better things to do that fret about the lighting, graininess and focus of her pictures. Ever heard the saying, "if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all?"

Maybe you should filter your nasty energy.

Hey, Anonymous, it certainly takes a stainless steel pair to be a little bitch and hide behind internet anonymity, doesn't it?

I'm with you on this, anycheese.

I admit that I just woke up, and I may be a little surly and a little ungrammatical, but:

Maybe anonymous should stop commenting and go back to taking pictures of themselves that are oversaturated in the foreground, with anon and another person leaning towards each other, anon's arm obviously cocked to hold the camera, intent on recording the evidence that, indeed, someone will stand near them long enough to take a photo.

If you have nothing nice to say? Are you even aware that you're on the internet? The INTERNET?

Still - If we're going to throw around useless cliches how about: 'If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right?'

For the record, I am not "Anonymous". And if you don't like my pictures, then you don't have to go to my flickr page to look at them. After reading this, I certainly would prefer it if you didn't. Oh and jlmgirl, I deleted all your photos. Don't worry, it will never happen again. Thanks for putting a damper on my birthday celebrations. Happy New Year.

Wow, and here I just thought it was a cute picture...can't say I love all the pictures friends take of me, but if they like them/it brings back good memories, I say feel free to post them. I didn't realize we all needed professional photographers following us around in order to have the perfect pictures. I'm sorry you felt the need to post this -too bad we couldn't all be friends, because I had fun that night!
