Man vs. Wild Drinking Game

Some people say Bear Grylls is a big phony, but that doesn't change the fact that this show is INCREDIBLY ENTERTAINING. And, like most things in life, it becomes even more entertaining when you add alcohol. There are a couple of other MVW drinking games out there, but our rules are easier to understand and just plain better.

Take a drink whenever:

Bear takes an excessively difficult or dangerous route when the cameraman clearly didn't have to.
Bear talks about people lost or stranded in his current environment, whether they lived or died.
Bear makes a raft, ladder, rope, or other transportation aid out of local materials and it fails before he is finished using it.
Bear takes off his shirt.
Bear takes off his trousers.
Bear takes off all his clothes.
Bear adds a syllable (as in "aluminium"), removes one (as in "slippy"), or just plain pronounces something wrong (as in "glassier" for glacier) because he's British.
Bear eats something gross and describes it using a simile (that means he uses the word "like" or "as") (see video example).

That's it. Below, a taste of the show...
