When Lionsgate picked up Oliver Stone's latest presidential biopic, no one could help but notice the timing of its theatrical release. The month before the next US election, W. will hit theatres across the country and around the world. For the first time, Stone turns his controversial lens on not only a living president, but a sitting president. After browsing comments on blogs everywhere, I think it's safe to say this film will be divisive, if not downright fistfight-inspiring.

There's been much speculation as to whether or not the film will be an accurate, factual depiction of the 43rd president. My money's on no, given Stone's alleged record. It should be entertaining nevertheless. Richard Dreyfuss as Dick Cheney? Awesome.
