Basia Bulat makes me barf

So far in our journey through the final ten shortlisted Polaris Music Prize nominees, I have been really enjoying the music, and rather proud to be Canadian. That all ended today. People are going nuts over Basia Bulat, and I can't for the life of me understand why. First of all, she's boring and unimaginative, her voice is really annoying, and her lyrics are terrible. Secondly, if you're going to play the an Autoharp, you'd better be accompanying an elementary school choir. Seriously, it takes about the same level of skill and musicianship to play an Autoharp as it does to play Guitar Hero. You want to stand out? Learn the zither.
